GA-P55A-UD5 with Onboard USB 3.0 Passes Rigorous Windows® 7 Logo Testing

Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards and other computing hardware solutions today proudly announced that the GA-P55A-UD5 motherboard is the world’s first motherboard with onboard USB 3.0 to pass Windows® 7 logo certification. This demonstrates GIGABYTE’s industry leadership and commitment to delivering the best quality motherboards with the most reliable operation to discerning consumers around the world.

After passing Microsoft’s Windows® Hardware Compatibility (WHCL) Testing, these motherboards are certified to run the Windows® 7 operating system flawlessly and may carry the Win 7 logo on the retail box. Other GIGABYTE motherboard models with onboard USB 3.0 are currently being tested and are expected to qualify for Win 7 logo certification within the next week.
