Noctua NF-S12B FLX Review

The NF-S12B

This is the piece de resistance of the whole package and no doubt the part you have been waiting for – the S12B in all it’s glory. Styled with the usual funky peach/brown colour scheme the NF-S12B certainly gets noticed, and for all the right reasons.

Instead of fitting in with the crowd, Noctua took a bold step and chose a colour scheme that was daring and could have been the make or break point of NF series. Thankfully the colour scheme has been embraced by enthusiasts around the world, and sets Noctua apart from the competition.

The fan cable is sleeved to a high standard and should be long enough for even the biggest of cases, even dare I say the Corsair 800D.

Here you can see the bevelled blade tips which were designed to achieve up to 10% higher airflow and static pressure than its predecessor, the s12. Now that we have looked at the fan itself, it’s time to look a little further into the technology behind it.
